The Bach Choir archiveBeethoven's 'Choral Fantasy' combines virtuoso piano writing with parts for chorus and six soloists and was conceived as the finale to a concert of the composer's music in Vienna. Stravinsky's Concerto in D for string orchestra is one of his most accessible works, and has been choreographed for ballet on several occasions. Mozart's Mass in C minor contains some of his greatest music but remained unfinished on his death. The Bach Choir performs the Mass as edited and reconstructed by the composer and musicologist, Philip Wilby.
