Details
Composed when he was barely eighteen, Sullivan’s incidental music to The Tempest made him famous overnight after it was first performed at the Crystal Palace. Commemorating the 150th anniversary of this debut, this rare London performance features soloists Sally Silver, Charlotte Page, Elinor Jane Moran, the London Gay Symphony Orchestra and Choir, conducted by Sullivan scholar Robin Gordon-Powell.
