Part of the BBC Proms. A world premiere from cult London band Public Service Broadcasting. After the success of its 2019 Prom The Race for Space, the retro-futurist ‘History Rock' group returns, joining Jules Buckley and the BBC Symphony Orchestra for This New Noise - a newly commissioned, album-length performance marking the centenary of the BBC. The band's signature combination of live acoustic and electronic elements with archival material creates soundscapes exploring key episodes in BBC Radio's past. Expect a multimedia spectacle in which rock concert meets history.
