Part of the BBC Proms. Beethoven's 'Choral' Symphony is a celebration of human endeavour, as is his ballet score The Creatures of Prometheus. Latvian Andris Nelsons is reunited with the CBSO, having ended his Music Directorship on a high in June. (He returns in Proms 49 and 51 with the Boston Symphony Orchestra).
