Prom 13 archivePart of the BBC Proms. A free family concert specially devised to give new and younger audiences a first taste of classical music and a flavour of the music to be heard throughout the season. There's music by Elgar and Holst, Saint-Saëns and Britten, plus a newly devised work designed for the BBC Proms Family Orchestra (which gives its debut performance at a Proms concert). PROM 13 is a free event and tickets will be available from the Royal Albert Hall Box Office (in person, online or by phone) from Thursday 25 June. Season Tickets, Half-Season Tickets and Weekend Promming Passes will be valid for this event. Please note that attendance at this concert does not count towards the Five-Concert Rule
