The Pontarddulais Male Choir was formed in 1960 under Noel Davies the conductor for 42 years. During this time the choir has asserted itself as a most credited ambassador of Welsh male voice singing. Their rise to prominence has risen through a record eleven first places at the Royal National Eisteddfod and in 2001 at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod they were winners of the prestigious male choir competition.
