Details
Opus Anglicanum are five singers with backgrounds in early music and a repertoire ranging from Gregorian chant, through music of all ages, to specially commissioned contemporary music. Their new programme ‘Love Songs’ brings together elements of courtship, love, marriage and parting with music by Tavener, Skempton, Vaughan Williams, Holst and the written word by Laurie Lee, Shakespeare and Ted Hughes. An entertainment of tunes, romance, tears and laughter from the emotion that binds us all together.
