The National Children's Orchestra consists of 100 exceptionally talented musicians under the age of fourteen, and has been described as 'bordering on the miraculous'. Members come from all parts of the country. Join our very own national team - the National Children's Orchestra's Main Orchestra - for a spectacular evening featuring music from Sibelius, Delius, Glazunov and Rachmaninov. Special guest soloist will be Callum Smart, who is quickly building up a reputation as one of the UK's most exciting young solo performers, having recently reached the final of the BBC Young Musician of the Year 2010 competition as well as being a prize-winner in the 2010 Yehudi Menuhin competition in Oslo.
