For almost a decade, the Royal Opera House has been the home of the next generation of artists. Through the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme, for two years talented young singers have daily coaching, sing smaller roles and understudy major roles with The Royal Opera. Répétiteurs, conductors and stage directors also participate in coaching and work on Royal Opera productions. Many former Young Artists have already become established in the international opera world. In recitals throughout the Season and especially in the more intimate performance atmosphere of Meet the Young Artists Week, you can hear and see today the artists of tomorrow in a showcase of talent.
