Handel's Messiah archiveHandel's famous oratorio - the story of Jesus' life told in magnificent music. The annual performance of Handel's sacred oratorio Messiah returns to the Royal Albert Hall for our 2018 Christmas festival of events. The splendour of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonia Chorus, will be combined with rising vocal stars, including previous BBC New Generation Artist Benjamin Appl, brought together by the much lauded young Russian conductor Maxim Emelyanychev.
