Details

Written for the coronation of King George II, Handel's masterpiece Zadok The Priest provides a stirring start to an evening of reflection in commemoration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day (27 January). At the heart of this concert is Chopin's beautiful Piano Concerto No. 1 which was featured in the award-winning 2002 film, The Pianist, starring Adrien Brody as Jewish-Polist musician Wladyslaw Szpilman.
