Founder of the children’s concert series, Abbey Road Concerts, pianist and presenter Dominic Harlan is joined by international singers Matthew Sharp and Sarah Moule for a fun, informal and interactive introduction to the world of song. From the heart-rending to the hilarious, these short musical stories burst with emotion and drama. Performing famous classics alongside rare gems, the trio present songs from the last two hundred years, inviting the whole family to dive in and immerse themselves in beautiful text and great tunes. Matthew Sharp returns to the Family Concerts series following his narration of last year’s highly popular Dirty Beasts concert and his critically acclaimed performance in the lead role of The Pied Piper with Opera North.
