Chas and His Band archiveSo Chas & Dave have performed their final tour. Does that mean no more Chas & Dave songs live? 'Definitely not!' Backed by his own band, Chas Hodges relates in words and song his life’s experiences in the studio and on the road before he teamed up with Dave. Like playing bass guitar on John Leytons' 'Johnny Remember Me', no. 1 in 1961, touring Britain and Germany as Jerry Lee Lewis' bass player and with another of his rock heroes, Gene Vincent. Supporting the Beatles on their last European tour. And did you know at one time Chas was briefly the fourth Beatle?
