Barbershopera archiveBarbershopera is a comedy barbershop quartet featuring three guys and a girl and since 2007 has charmed audiences across the UK and internationally with their award-winning work. Their shows always retain the original, simple premise: three guys and a girl singing a fully formed a cappella musical. The Eurovision Barbershop Contest is approaching. Our manly quartet fancy their chances, until their lead tenor does a runner. He must be replaced and fast, but when the only option is an operatic warbling woman... what will our heroes do? Putting a diva among the dapper dans has varied and colourful consequences. Will three guys and a girl make it to Ljubljana in one piece, let alone triumph at this prestigious international event? Barbershopera is an a cappella musical in four-part harmony. Expect laughs, tears, false beards and enormous vibratos.
