Simon Davies and Nicholas Lee began their musical partnership whilst studying with John Williams and Craig Ogden at the Royal Northern College of Music Manchester. A rare opportunity to hear two classical guitars on the concert platform. With their CD of nineteenth century music released this year, concert performances across the country and BBC radio appearances, The Arada Guitar Duo have been creating quite a stir in the last twelve months. Simon Davies and Nicholas Lee will be performing works from the 19th and 20th centuries, highlighting the guitar’s intimate nature as well as its virtuosic capabilities.
