Details

Barry is a Broadway actor and singer and holds a music degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He has worked as a NYC-based composer, accompanist, and musical director for the past 10 years. Mark is based in London and was originally a performer in a pop group before moving into the songwriting side of the music business. He has worked with various composers over the last five years and now feels that he has finally found his niche working creatively with Barry. They debuted their first sold-out concert at The Duplex in Greenwich Village in New York City in May of last year which featured a mix of pop, country and musical theatre specific material which was headlined by several Broadway performers including Nikki Renee Daniels. Since this first concert they have had their work performed at cabarets both in London and New York. They had their Christmas song performed at St. Pauls' Church in Covent Garden as part of the West End At Christmas charity event which was one of the cabaret highlights of the year and also at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center in New York as part of their Christmas programming. They also recently had their composition Love Will Find Its Way performed as the closing song of the evening at the 150th Anniversary Concert of Chicago's North Central College which was watched by over 2,300 people. New songs by Barry Anderson and Mark Petty, performed by many well-known West End Stars. All profits from this event go to TheatreMAD/The Make A Difference Trust
