A Feast of Gilbert and Sullivan archiveFormer stars of the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company join together to provide an evening of Gilbert and Sullivan in a programme that contains something from all 14 operas in a totally traditional style With former singers of the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company, featuring Yvonne Patrick, Louise Crane, Nicholas Sales, Jeremy Peaker and Richard Woodall former D'Oyly Carte Bass. Accompanied by The British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, Conducter Anthony Kraus and Leader Jeff Moore. Another fun selection of favourites from all of the Gilbert and Sullivan Operas performed by former singers of The D'Oyly Carte Opera Company presented with short scenes of dialogue and with stories of times spent in the D'Oyly Carte. Selections include numbers from The Mikado, Pirates of Penzance, HMS Pinafore, The Gondoliers, Iolanthe, Utopia ltd, the Grand Duke, Trial By Jury, Patience, Princess Ida, Ruddigore, The Sorceror, and The Yeoman of the Guard. Including The Major Generals Song, The Mikado's Song, Here's A How De Do, The Flowers that Bloom in the Spring, The Sun Whose Rays and so many more.
