Free Fringe Benefit archiveA show of standup to benefit the Free Fringe for 2010 and the future. Currently booked Stewart Lee, Robin Ince, Lucy Porter and Brendon Burns. More to be announced. The Free Fringe has become a major part of the Edinburgh Fringe. Performers don't pay to play; the public doesn't pay to watch. Founded and directed by Peter Buckley Hill, we started from a single show in 1996, and in 2008 grew to 1973 performances of 115 shows. We're hoping to grow further and carry on bringing free shows to Edinburgh in August as long as there's an Edinburgh and an August.

It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
