A night of stories told through sound. Close your eyes and open your ears to the world of story telling through sound... This month the Pleasance Theatre is playing host to In The Dark's Cinema of Sound - a project that celebrates the world of radio and audio storytelling. This month we are joined by writer and presenter, Hardeep Singh Kohli, who will be curating an evening of listening...in the dark! Hardeep began his broadcasting career working in radio and despite various segways into TV and writing, he still holds the wireless very dear, presenting extensively across Radio 4, from primetime slots like Midweek, Saturday Live to The Food Programme and Pick of the Week. He has made a plethora of documentaries for Radio 4 and recently won "Director's Choice" at the prestigious Third Coast International Audio Festival, for his documentary, The Loneliness of the Goalkeeper. As part of In The Dark's running programme of curated public listenings, he will be presenting his picks of audio both from his own career, and from producers that have inspired him.
