The 7 Fingers (Les 7 doights de la main) - Traces archiveComing out of Canada, the home of the modern circus, The 7 Fingers are one of the world's most exciting and inventive contemporary circus companies. Combining choreography and dance with physical theatre, multi-media and music this award-winning trail-blazing company thrills with creativity and deserves to be experienced live. Fresh, urban and seriously high-energy, Traces is circus with a distinctly 21st century edge. This brand new cast of five multi-talented performers display an extraordinary range of skills, from tumbling through hoops, scaling Chinese poles and balancing seemingly effortlessly on each others' heads, to basketball, skateboarding and playing classical piano. Snippets of the performers' real lives are revealed through film clips, narration and music. As the show draws to its final, dramatic climax the audience is on the edge of its seats, willing them to pull off the seemingly impossible. A huge hit at the Peacock Theatre in 2009, Traces has dazzled critics and audiences around the world from Paris to New York. Set to a fantastic soundtrack ranging from rock ?n' roll to blues to hip hop, this is a thrill-a-minute show that will leave you begging for more.
