Wandering Soul: Be My Life's Companion archiveWandering Soul have garnered much respect and anticipation from audiences with their entertaining performances that feature the perfect blend of original songs and creative arrangements delivered in a vocal style strongly influenced by The Mills Brothers. The self accompanied close vocal harmonies of Ben Somers, Henry Gilbert and Jonathan ‘Kitch' Kitching draw inspiration and style from swing and early jazz, along with more contemporary vocal pop groups of the 70s and 80s such as Hall & Oates and Queen. Using jazz traditions as a springboard they can be seen around the globe regularly dazzling audiences with conscientious, imaginative and novel renditions of unexpected songs. Along with being seasoned singers and entertainers they're never scared to break out into virtuosic improvised solos on their instruments. Boy, can they play! Separately and together the trio have played with the likes of Jamie Cullum, Seal, Dr John, Taylor Swift, Roberto Pla & his latin ensemble, Michael Bolton, Cilla Black, David Hasselhoff, Ed Balls and many many more.
