Tombstone Tales - and Boothill Ballads archiveA graveyard cabaret. Strange but true stories unearthed from the Old West's most famous bone-orchard and brought back to life in a lively and often hilarious evening of comic, bizarre, pathetic and tragic tales. "Most of Tombstone's stories pass through here, one way and another. Like all roads lead to Rome. Lift a stone and listen -they'll whisper it to you. Ask nicely and they'll sit up and sing it for you. They may even get up and dance it for you." Expect fireside yarns, bar-room brag, Appalachian clog-dancing, shadow shows, makeshift puppetry, glee-club harmonies, vaudeville turns, parlour games and melodramatic skits. "What's great about the show - besides the intelligent script and the inventiveness of the staging - is that it is totally involving in every way, from the storytelling to the audience participation…this is a show of real wonder" (The Guardian on 'Jason and the Argonauts' by beggarsbelief) with local performers and artists.
