These Are a Few of My Favourite Songs archiveWelcome to a series of live personal interviews with leading lights of the theatre world, in which they talk about the songs that inspire them and the work they do, with live performances of some of the songs they choose. Hosted by theatre critic Mark Shenton, the new season will feature actor Simon Russell Beale (20 May), director Jeremy Sams (27 May), composer Howard Goodall (17 June) and actress Kerry Ellis (8 July). Taking place in the intimate setting of the Soho Theatre's Soho Downstairs, some of the chosen songs will be performed live by West End stars Caroline Sheen and Emma Williams. These are a Few of My Favourite Songs is being staged to benefit The Theatrical Guild - the charity that looks after backstage and front-of-house personnel in need.
