Frances Ruffelle - Beneath the Dress archiveTony Award winning Frances Ruffelle, is not only well known for creating the role of the iconic waif Eponine in the original stage show of Les Miserables, but also for her outrageously playful cabaret appearances in Europe and the U.S. The Tony award winning actress and singer Frances Ruffelle brings her 5 star Edinburgh Festival show 'Beneath the Dress' to the Crazy Coqs. The show was voted one of the most memorable experiences of 2013 by Playbill magazine and received several 5 star reviews. Beneath the Dress is Frances's musical journey in which she looks back at all the influences in her artistic career through songs by songwriters who have both inspired her and whom she admires such as Tom Waites, Jacques Brel and Cole Porter amongst many others. Frances Ruffelle first shot to fame originating the role of Eponine in Les Miserables. She is currently playing Dorian's long lost daughter Naomi in the new ITV series of Birds of a Feather.
