Four people gather in the village hall to plan and prepare for the Christmas Show. They squabble, philosophise, practise songs, and tell stories until finally they are ready for a glimpse of what future Christmases may hold as Jacob Marley's ghost drags them kicking and screaming across the footlights and into the opening night. And what a night. Humbug? Absolutely. Dickens? Sort of. A Christmas Carol? It's in there somewhere... An evening of songs, stories and music, this is a cabaret with a narrative, a show within a show.
