Brig-Aid Cabaret archiveEarlier this year Sarah Brigham - CEO & Artistic Director of Derby Theatre, friend to Jacksons Lane, enabler of emerging artists, tireless advocate for a more inclusive, accessible Arts world - was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer. The NHS doesn't fund treatment for the disease so a fundraising campaign, BRIG-AID, was set up to raise the initial ?60,000 needed to get Sarah her first rounds of treatment in Germany. A huge groundswell of generosity led to this target being reached. Anything raised over this target will continue funding Sarah's treatment, go towards Derby Hospitals and help raise awareness and spread information about her rare form of cancer. Brig-Aid at Jacksons Lane is a badass, star-studded knees-up celebrating Sarah's nous, determination and generosity. Hosted by drag king LoUis CYfer, the misbehaving sheriff of Soho, the evening promises performance, music and prizes. A super sassy line-up of artists from theatre, cabaret, comedy and circus will entertain, amaze and occasionally disgust you for one night of very special entertainment. This line-up includes:
