Moving from stunning, virtuoso displays of traditional tango to powerful, groundbreaking contemporary tango music and dance, Tango:Nuevo is an exquisite and breathtaking journey into the heart Tango Argentino and beyond. Four leading Latin American tango dancers will perform new choreography by Myriam Ojeda Patino (director of Arte Latino Cultural Project). Live music is composed and performed by the acclaimed tango ensemble Tango Siempre, with specially commissioned pieces by award-winning composers Iain Ballamy and Huw Warren. Presented in collaboration with Oxford Contemporary Music. Tour supported by PRS Foundation, Bracknell South Hill Park and Swindon Dance.
