Details

Revered in the 19th Century, forgotten in the 20th, Fanny Trollope was one of the most prolific and controversial writers of her time. At the age of 53 she achieved instant fame on both sides of the Atlantic with her first novel, then went on to write no less than 41 more novels and travel books in a style which strips away the hypocrisy of early 19th century England. After this entertainment, based on her books and letters, both actresses will be in conversation about the piece and Teresa will talk about her biography of Fanny.
