Details
In a programme of mainly twentieth century music the High School simultaneously celebrates its first 125 years and looks forward to the new century. The first half of the concert will consist of short items. The major work will be a fully staged production of Benjamin Britten's
Noye's Fludde, a modern version of the medieval mystery play, performed by girls from 6 to 18. The rainbow, which appears after Noah's adventures, is a powerful symbol of hope for the new Millennium.
