Douglas is in a rut. Trapped in a loveless marriage and a monotonous job he has to find a way out. He tries to effect a change in his life and then catastrophe strikes. Falsely accused of murder he's forced to go on the run. Moving around the country, changing identities he meets a series of peculiar characters who help him come to terms with who he is and what life is about. An uplifting and life-affirming fast-paced comedy packed with unforgettable characters and hilarious scenes.
