A kalaidoscopic view of the struggles of one Eastern Berliner in the time leading up to the collapse of the Wall. A life dominated by waiting: for bread, for travel permits for everything. Fifty performers provide the background to this central character's life, creating the immediacy, energy, intensity and madness of the days leading up to the fall.
