Performance poets Steve Tasane and Terry Caffrey get witty with words on Thursday 8th October and the lucky winner of the Grand’s one-act playwriting competition Grand Words is announced on Friday 9th October at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre as part of the resort’s annual Wordpool festival. Wordpool 09 is a week long programme of events held throughout the borough from Sunday 4th October to Saturday 10th October to encourage reading and celebrate the world of words. The third year of the annual festival will include readings and workshops from some of the UK’s most inspiring artists.
