Details

Vincent and Conny Richardson are Anglo-Indian living comfortably in Lahore, India. But when partition comes in 1947 they have no place in the new society of the country they were born in. Like many families they 'return' to the UK, but events are against them and England is not all they expect it to be. Can their relationship survive the pressures imposed on it? Or will the repercussions of partition tear them apart forever?
