In the early years of the 19th century Daniela Gilbert's ancestors left the south coast of England to settle on the forbidding shores of Newfoundland. 200 years later Daniela makes the journey back, in search of her family roots. With live music and folk songs from the Canadian North, this is a story of love, loss and longing.
