Anushiye Yarnell takes fragments from everyday life and turns them into existential daydreams. Her works draw on personal experience, past and future mythologies, notions of paradise and civilisation, dreams and cultural diversity. "Nest is a little ritual - I make my body a temporary home, a little being makes a temporary home in me. It is a strange and mysterious encounter. We carry each other about, though we have not yet met. Meanwhile I build a nest. I gather my thoughts, feelings encounters with the world outside and inside, which often orbit around the unknown "human being" forming inside me. Transformation becomes a survival necessity. Is it Love... this little unravelling which is happening to me?"
