Joe Baxter, in a moment of rage, smashes the local war-memorial. The consequences are terrifying. Is it guilt, or is time shifting? Joe is confronted by the soldiers whose names he's defiled, including a boy his own age - a boy just as capable of anger and deception, who joined Kitchener's Army to "do his duty." Joe finds this hard to understand. His family is disintegrating around him and he has his own battles to fight. Emerging from workshops and discussion, combining stylised movement with physical theatre, comedy and storytelling, this is a moving, funny and poignant parallel story of love and loss set both in 1914 and 2014
