Inspired by 1997's celebration of India's 50 years as an independent country. Independence resulted in the partititon of the Indian subcontinent into India and Pakistan. Migration was forced upon many families who left land and property behind them to start a new life where they would be socialy accepted. The story told through two dances "Journeys" and "Independent yet United"
