A one man play about Dylan Thomas As seen through the eyes of Dylan Thomas’ great boyhood friend, Swansea composer Daniel Jones (brilliantly played by Adrian Metcalfe), Warmley is a touching drama charting the pair’s friendship and lust for life. This moving and heart-warming monologue, punctuated by pianist Rob Marshall’s expertly executed renditions of some of Jones’ hugely underrated compositions, looks back on the camaraderie which led to the formation of the ‘Warmley Broadcasting Corporation’, Dylan’s success and the ultimate sadness of his untimely death aged 39. In sharing a mutual affection and love for words and sound, the pair forged a unique bond that is re-ignited once again in this unique two-man chamber piece.
