A Ship of Fools archiveOpen a door within and be taken by a unique unfolding site-specific experience, a journey through dance, physical theatre, music and installation. A gripping adventure into the realms of human nature. A true Fringe show! Created by Yael Karavan and the Karavan Ensemble, A Ship of Fools will anchor at Coachwerks from 1st to 9th May. At 6pm the show will start on The Big Lemon Bus that will pick you up from the Old Steine and take you to Coachwerks. Music, dance, installation, poetry and physical theatre will intertwine in this event telling the story of our inner fools. Dinner will be served at 8pm and you will witness the absurd co-existence of these fools in a dance/theatre and music performance. Don't miss the Fools' Delight auction on the last show, Sunday 9th May, where all created items and objects of the performance will be on sale to the public! After years of sharpening the tools of her craft, internationally acclaimed award winning performer, Yael Karavan (DEREVO, MAMU Dance Theatre) is now directing the Karavan Ensemble - a diverse group of international performers with an exciting mixture of skills and backgrounds.
