Who gives one person the power to silence another, to erode our meaningful noise? From a tangle of rope and personal experience - an umbilical cord connecting contemporary Britain to African ancestry - emerges a deep-rooted expression of identity, spirit and the struggle to find space where your true voice can be heard. Lullabies, laments, jazz scat and twisted beat box combine in a dance theatre symphony, scratching at the boundaries of rhythm, language and sound.
