Alfred Hitchcock's Writers' Room archiveFour writers. Four scripts. One dead woman. Just another day in Hollywood. Set in 1961, Mr Hitchcock has hired four young writers to script potential follow-ups to his big hit of 1960, Psycho. But, as expected with the master of suspense, all is not as it seems. When sharing their stories, the writers reveal the recurring feature of a murdered blonde woman - a very real murdered woman. Prime suspects, a detective investigates the Writers' Room to find the culprit. Who is responsible for such a crime? A new comedy play parodying the thrillers of Hitchcock in a loving ode, Alfred Hitchcock's Writers' Room is inspired by detective fiction as a whole, the comedic character interaction bickering of It's Always Sunny in Philideplphia and the physically-exaggerated performances if Steven Berkoff, Alfred Hitchcock's Writers' Room is an ensemble comedy that relies on the essence of storytelling to craft an intriguing tale full of humour and suspense.
