WHen. is excited to announce the next WRITERS ENSEMBLE which features two new associations between a director and a playwright, who are developing a new piece and process of working and also the first full-reading of PEBBLES ON THE BEACH by Joanna Pinto, which has emerged from the first WRITERS ENSEMBLE process earlier this year. The new writer/director partnerships are: Mark Quartley/Louisa Fitzgerald and George Belfield/Tanith Lindon. Mark Quartley is a playwright and actor currently training at RADA. His second full-length play, Lucky, is currently in rehearsals for a reading at RADA in May 2008. Louisa Fitzgerald trained in directing at The Court Theatre Training Company. She is currently working with Timothy Hughes on The Six Wives of Timothy Leary for Weaver Hughes Ensemble. George Belfield graduated from Manchester University in 2005 and has written several short plays and is currently working on a full-length piece. Tanith Lindon has directed several productions, most recently the intensely visceral A Dog Has Died Inside Me by David Christopher.
