Details

A devised performance created around themes and issues in architecture, construction and identity. Every Building... explores the bonds we form in relation to the space we occupy - and investigates how we live our lives in relation to these environments. Rough Triangle present a surprising journey through the urban sprawl of everyday life, guided by three slightly unhinged performers who look suspiciously like estate agents. Rough Triangle use a unique blend of game play, storytelling, comedy, lo-fi visual spectacles and autobiography to present this unique piece, somehow combining an ill-fated love story, the building of skyscraper, the demolition of a council estate and a dance piece, with cardboard boxes. Descriptive and visual imagery is used to create a place for the company to lay bare Utopian dreams of structural bliss, before haphazardly demolishing them to make room for the next.
