During the darkest time of the night, places that are peaceful in the day look altogether different. Fred and Marge's allotment has become a supermarket for the hungry and a meeting place for doggers. It's all the same to them though; Marge hasn't even noticed. In The Allotment three different generations experience the disappointments and struggles of growing older as the sun comes up on Fred and Marge's anniversary. Each couple demonstrates the importance of location in our lives as three different directors give their own interpretation of what happens after dark in The Allotment.
