Bliss is a savagely surreal attack upon contemporary culture's obsession with real-life tragedy and celebrity worship written by Olivier Choinière], in a version by Caryl Churchill. It was first seen at the Royal Court in 2008. It will be followed by
Mud, a taut, funny and cruel portrayal of the battle of the sexes by Cuban-born, American writer Maria Irene Fornes. The first of an occasional series of pared-down stagings to be presented by the Tron Theatre Company under the banner of Tron Stripped. This double-bill, celebrates the imagination and skill of two outstanding North American writers.
