Silence: A Language is a physical and textual exploration into the many silences that surround out lives. Silence can rule our lives, holding us in a limbo where we are unable to access the truth, or it can be a powerful weapon used against the ones we love. Silence speaks louder than words, it can be golden, it can be dark, it can hold the answer to so many stories left untold and unclaimed. For Samuel Beckett it was the key to... who knows! But it was something he shared in great reverence with James Joyce, and like Harold Pinter, silence could be found in the very fabric of his writing,... Pause... On the same programme is Night an untying of Pinter’s text to discover the physical reality behind the spoken work. There will be a question and answer session after the 14:00 performance.
