Hidden Gems productions is a new Theatre collaborative by established regional artists Amanda Huxtable & Marcia Layne. They've worked together in many capacities over the years create a company to share the work with their audiences that they really want to see. Hidden Gems Productions tells the stories that matter, showcasing British talent & Black British stories. Their first outing under the Hidden Gems umbrella is 'Lost & Found' which was originally commissioned by Yorkshire Women Theatre where Amanda was previously Artistic Director. Lost and Found was first created in 2007 in recognition of the bicentenary of the abolition of the transatlantic slave trade. The play has now been re-worked with a new cast & refreshed script & will tour regional venues in Leeds, Sheffield & Huddersfield.
