It tells of his birth in Lithuania, of his bull-fighting mother, of his first stage performance, of his historic meeting with impresario (and future manager) Mr Gilbert Fiske, of his rise to fame and fortune, of what happened when he performed for Her Majesty and why he was forced to flee to Sweden.
