The Storm archiveA tragi-comedy, set in a savage merchant community, of a married girl's affair that goes horribly wrong. Set in 19th century Russia. Enmeshed in an empty marriage and unable to break free from an overbearing mother, Tikhon finds refuge in drink whilst Katerina, encouraged by the free thinking Vavara, dares to meet her lover, Boris. But in the small town of Kalinov, the storm draws near for everyone.
