Julius Caesar Trilogy archiveA play within a play. A troupe of travelling players some from Japan to Europe to present a trilogy based on Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, Antony and Cleopatra and Plutarch's Life of Julius Caesar. In an atmosphere of great festivity, they explore and try to overcome the historical and cultural distance between Rome and today, but also the distance between the Japanese actors and the European audiences
